Lol, it's also a '91 based off the valve covers and the emissions sticker. The owner just doesn't know what year it is.

My 1990 Suburban v2500 shows 4 speed auto on selector but window sticker (was in glove box ) shows 3 speed auto. It has a 3 speed auto in it.
