20g Side tank to 31g Center Mount tank

I know a 31g tank from a blazer/suburban should bolt into a longbed pickup frame(1979 K15) but what's it take to run the fuel filler neck and keep it in the stock location?

Yup when I did mine the new gas door is way higher then OEM. Yours is in the tail light, correct?

mocket up for tail light. I need a bunch of body work on the bed so I'll prolly just put it in the bed. Not gonna let the filler stop me from the LS swap any longer.
