1987 Monster

Just a little introduction. I got a 1987 chevy V10. Been restoring for about 1 year now. I went down to the frame and started there. I installed a 8" lift from BDS with Fox shocks. 37 boggers, 456 gears. A brand new 383 stroker putting out about 500 hp. New Fenders,hood, doors, 20 gal fuel cell, new axles. I painted it myself(first time doing all of this.) Its a Hot rod flatz gunmetal grey with hot rod flatz black trim. I am about 95% done on the outside. Just starting the inside.

well it is supposed to be my daily driver. i live in the country so i hardly go anywahere

yea i like it to. took me 6 months to decide what color i wanted to go with. it looks alot better in person. I attached a closer pic, you can see the colors alot better

how many coats did it take, I just painted mine black and im not happy with the finish but I didn't put a ton into it either

i got 2 heavy coats and 1 thin coat. the thin coat was to get rid of the paint lines

Love it! prolly gonna go near that route with color and motor you daily it yet interested on fuel economy I'm only gonna be push in for 400hp or so
