140A alternator bracket

I found this odd looking factory alternator bracket for use on a v-belt setup to install a 140A CS144 alternator....first time I've seen one like this-pretty cool.

Well that's different.

I put one of those big honkin' alternators on my '86 Camaro, there was enough wiggle room in the stock bracket.

If it works well, then by all means.

I just recently replaced my original alternator with a Powermaster 150A. Fit perfectly into the stock brackets. Only needed a larger ring terminal to fit the stud mount.
