    When shutting truck off...

    When shutting the truck off the engine doesn't shut right off 95% of the time, it will turn over 2 or 3 more times weakly. And then finally shut down. The distributor is new. Not sure what else it might be. Any ideas HotRodPC bucket Old77

    Carb Bog

    Hey guys had my neighbor rebuild my edelbrock 1405 and add the electric choke to it. I know it has 12 volts but it doesn't seen to be working. Also once the truck is warm it idles nicely. Adjusted the accelerator pump to eliminate the acceleration stumble. However it bogs terribly in gear now...

    So I've been debating trying to track down a homelink overhead console for my 87. And I'm not sure it will work. Anybody have any input on this? Does the homelink run through the bcm or is it stand alone? Any input is greatly appreciated!

    454 Block ID

    After pulling my 454 out of my C30 today I located the casting numbers on the block. gm 10114182 are the numbers. Everything I see says its a gen 5 motor. Any input to confirm or deny this would be great! Thanks. Although if it is a gen v I have alot more options for my serpentine setup.
