I think so. I can see the flywheel, I think thats what it is at least. It's the first part of the transmission inside, a big gear wheel type thing.- ChazNV

I was under the truck today looking at the transmission and differentials when I noticed my truck does not have a bellhousing cover on it. I would like to get one on it asap. I don't know much about mechanics though. The engine is a 327, and the trans is the stock 4 speed manual granny gear...- ChazNV

6 Bolt Front Axle Hub Size
I actually bought them from a friend who used them for 2 months then switched over to a different set of wheels so the weren't originally for my truck. Thats why I got the wheel adapters though. I couldn't pass them up as they were a really good deal.- ChazNV

6 Bolt Front Axle Hub Size
So I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms but I was wondering if anyone knows the size of the front axle hub on a 1980 Chevy K10. I bought some aftermarket wheels and adapters and they fit on the rear but not on the front because I forgot I had the manual locking axle hub shaft thing sticking...- ChazNV

Well yeah, I don't expect it to be a rocket, its an old lifted truck. I just want it to be relatively fast for what it is in it's category. I'm not really racing the thing lol- ChazNV

I plan on taking it offroad every once in awhile but nothing extreme, so mostly highway miles. It looks like the previous owner was trying to make it a relatively fast truck so I think I'd like to follow that idea just to see what this engine can do. I'd rather stay under or around $2k for the...- ChazNV

K10 w/ 327 needs new trans?
So I bought this 1980 K10, it's got a 4 inch lift and 35inch tires. The engine is a 327 out of a 66 corvette, it's got a hi-rev cam, high comp pistons, roller rocker valve train, edelbrock intake manifold, edelbrock 600 cfm carb, and a couple other things. It's still using the stock 4 speed...- ChazNV
