Choosing a new carb and intake
I built a 355 with flat tops, 76cc heads and the edelbrock performer package. (Cam, lifters, valve springs, timing set, and intake with a 600 cfm Holley carb. I had 3:55 gears and 33 inch tires. I like edelbrock intakes myself, what rpm range is the 268 voodoo cam? You should always match your cam rpm to your intake rpm. Same with the carb, read what they are best intended for. I only build high torque low rpm engines, cause that's what I like in my 4x4's. I like edelbrocks performance...- bigcountryguy19

I suspect a rear main leak has developed
I would replace the oil pump, for one it's not that expensive, for two do you really want to tear it all back apart again if it does take a dump? When I replaced my rear main I had to losen all the main caps and slightly drop the crank to get the upper seal in, it wouldn't rotate out. I highly...- bigcountryguy19
