    Priming fuel system?

Would that really be an issue? Of it cranking for a while on a new cam? I just never thought that would really matter? I would just like to know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Choosing a new carb and intake

I built a 355 with flat tops, 76cc heads and the edelbrock performer package. (Cam, lifters, valve springs, timing set, and intake with a 600 cfm Holley carb. I had 3:55 gears and 33 inch tires. It had impressive power. I ran stock exhaust manifolds too. I hate headers. Sent from my iPhone...

Choosing a new carb and intake

I like edelbrock intakes myself, what rpm range is the 268 voodoo cam? You should always match your cam rpm to your intake rpm. Same with the carb, read what they are best intended for. I only build high torque low rpm engines, cause that's what I like in my 4x4's. I like edelbrocks performance...

I suspect a rear main leak has developed

I would replace the oil pump, for one it's not that expensive, for two do you really want to tear it all back apart again if it does take a dump? When I replaced my rear main I had to losen all the main caps and slightly drop the crank to get the upper seal in, it wouldn't rotate out. I highly...

Question about splitting sm465 from transfer case

You could try that, I personally don't do it that way but that doesn't mean it can't be done. It not hard dropping the shafts, and pullin t case out first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I suspect a rear main leak has developed

I would say it's the rear main, or pan gasket. Could possibly be the rear intake gasket, maybe it slipped out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    TH350 2wd to 4x4

IMO, it would be best to find a whole 4x4 setup out of a donor truck, so you can get the proper driveshafts and cross members. Doesn't really matter what t case you get, as long is it matches your drive lines (one piece or two piece). A np205 is great, but a np208 works fine too. As hot rod said...

    Wobble wobble wobble, rear axle.

Shocks are probably due lol. On the ball joints an tie rod ends, you are correct, just jack up the front of the truck and wiggle stuff looking for play in them, I use a small pry bar on the steering knuckle and just try to wiggle it around, if it doesn't move your good. Sent from my iPhone...

    Ball Joint Replacement First Time!

I believe that the sleeve for the upper ball joint is for castor adjustment, just make sure it goes back in the same position as the old on so you're alignment stays the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
