    I understand what you're saying. 101 vs. 020 and that's part of what I'm asking. I do know to stay away from blocks marked "hecho en Mexico" but what about 1st gen blocks made here?

    4L60 Transmission build Hey guys, I'm back. So, I have a 4L60 ready to be rebuilt. I have all the parts (Mostly Borg Waner) a Sonax sun shell, new bearings, sprags, bushings and a stand to do all the work on. Here's the before photos and I'll have more as the build continues. Wish me luck!!!

    So, after calling 47 wrecking yards in the Slat Lake area, I discovered that there wasn't a drive shaft made for a 117" wheel base with a Th350 with a 6" tail shaft. On to plan 'B'
