    Floor replacement questions.

    DONT use POR on NEW metal unless it is sandblasted. POR stands for "paint over rust". It will peel off in sheets...trust me, I learned the hard way. It needs a rough surface to adhere to.

    Depends on how much time you want to invest. Nothing wrong with stock floors unless you plan on keeping it for 20 years, driving on salt roads etc. checker or thicker steel is better, but your host materials are light anyway and will rot out just the same

In taking a closer look at these diffs, I've found the spring perches are completely opposite of each other. my 87's 10 bolt axle has them on top of the axle tube, where the 12 bolt has them on the bottom. (came from a 79 c10) Did these trucks use different spring sizes and...

    I'll check them out. part of the shipping is duty, brokerage fees etc...cross border shipping kills us up here...especially with UPS's outright brokerage ROBBERY...not LMC's pricing...its the freight company's charges

    Didnt the newer trucks go to 6 lug? Not a bad idea, but would mean changing the front rotors/spindles to suit? You couldnt run factory rally rims (for those who like them)

    I have a 12 bolt diff from a 79 that I want to throw in my 87 while I rebuild my 10 bolt posi. Do these interchange without driveshaft issues?
