On my '85 big block, with the tall wide radiator, it is one solid piece that holds down the radiator. What radiator do you have?

I don't have one to be able to compare. Thanks for posting the pic. I guess I need the one piece kind. I'm putting a after market aluminum 4 row radiator in my Blazer.

Anybody have a one piece 454 radiator top bracket?

Since @85K304SPD mentioned it, the true wide diesel radiator uses the individual brackets with a plastic cover spanning the gap between them. The 1 pc top plate does not fit the extra wide diesel radiator, the unused wider bolt pattern holes can be seen in the pic in post #2.

What radiator are you planning? I did the Griffin kit with fans & it fits the standard radiator support.

Dang…. Looks like the be cool’s are 21” tall and the Griffin is only 19.

Looks like LMC has BB rad top panels in stock for 81-87 square. Not sure if it’s what you’re looking for.

81-87 bb plate from lmc on a small block truck, factory holes. For a four core. The lmc piece is definitely on the flimsier side, but it's held solid.

I might run out to the salvage yard by me, and see if any of the Squarebodies out there have one. Thanks for the help y'all.

There is a few different sizes of radiators for these squares. Height and width differences. Brackets, shrouds, hoses, hold downs... dont forget the little rubber saddle things that they sit in... There is more variables than I ever thought there could be.

I have one of these I can sell cheap if anyone needs it. I powdercoated it so it looks like new. I ended up going with a taller radiator to help with the AZ summer.
