No I didn’t read it all. Did you try swapping tires left to right and see if the pull switches sides? Or have the tire flipped on the rim.

I have another chevy that looks kinda like this one u have in the pic but urs is way better shape left that for the ex lol! Oh wait different year sry mine has diff head lights

Only had them rotated right before the alignment im lucky if there is a man to help me in the next 30 mile every direction lol they all seem to forget my name when the truck could use the help they run lmao!!!

So you're being told the mileage is accurate on your truck at 37,***??? How do we know that speedo has never been replaced? BUT, if it's not been swapped, as straight as those digits are lined up, I could sure see why someone seems to think it's original miles. Normally when you roll an odo, the center digit is not 100% lined up with the other digits. It could be either a little to high or a little to low. Also depends on the make of vehicle too. I've been told on some Dodges, that when the odo rolled it scratched one of digits as it rolled. It has like a thin line through the digits on 1 column. Also, spacing between digits can be off on some breeds. @RetroC10Sport may know more about it, or even have some CarFax info on your VIN. If you see a repair or recall repaird at says 45,000 then you obviously know the odo isn't accurate. Titles usually can give some clue too if it's changed hands a few times along the way.

Its the odometer on my chevy u see in the pic! Its not as pretty as a lot on here but hoping to get it there! I was mostly curious incase i was to sell it. Don't need took anymore then I have been lol. and thanks

Well I’m probably 3-4 HRs away.....can you cook? Lol and my pig would eat a bed full of fuel to get out there. Lol

Don't sell the truck. We can fix it. I'm just not certain it's your gear box. Where you at in PA? We have a couple members in PA. One of them has a connection for used parts from time to time too, so in the event it is a gear box, he may be able to find a good used one. I just don't buy that ******** though. I've never heard of a bad box causing a pull problem.

The thought about the box having an internal leak makes sense, but I don’t have faith in most shops to know how to watch for that. Most of the Saginaw problems manifest themselves as slop, but the stuff about replacing the column is bull. I’d do like the guys are saying and take it from the basics. If you couldn’t isolate the problem in the tires, I’d jack up the front end and check steering parts, ball joints, bearings, etc. You didn’t happen to see the alignment specs, did you? The toe should have been nominal for their machinery, but your camber should have been 1.5* positive, which is what it was from the factory in 1985-87. If it wasn’t close to that, something might be broken to have caused a shift.

Wow ty and no never knew to even ask thats good advice! I recently found out my ex only changed one brake pad nice right lol Needless to say he has it out for me and my truck lol! But i was told that would only cause it to pull when applying the brake! So the inspector gadget i am i got to looking at the brake he took off well on the edge it has rips in it leaving sharp edges. so now I was told caliber in that case why the hell didnt the shop see this and why am I not feeling or hearing it? I mean my truck is load not loud enough for me but its loud lol maybe thats why!
