Does any one have experience with LMC's complete mounting kits vs. kits for cab, radiator and bed? I have noticed that when kits like these are put together, lower quality parts are used and this allows for a lower price.

Many of the aftermarket rubber mounts will crack after a few years or sooner. Heck, even some brand new GM cab mounts I used on my 69 C10 cracked after less than a year. I suspect they had been sitting on a shelf for very long time.

I suggest polyurethane mounts from Energy Suspension or Prothane. I eventually installed Prothane cab mounts on that 69 C10, and they still look like new after 22 years!

And ignore anyone who tells you the ride will be more harsh. Yes, maybe on a Cadillac, but the only difference you will notice on a truck is less rock and roll. And if you use poly control arm bushings, the steering response will be much improved with zero to little increase in harshness.

Forget the exact brand I went with, but installed poly bushings on my truck. It tightened everything up and took away that bit of slop from the worn out rubber bushings. I like em.
