ok thats what ill do also would you know how to alighn a hood? my truck the hood isnt lined up on one side its got a gap other side it dont and at the cowl screen on passenger side there is a 2 inch gap other side there isnt? i tried adjusting the rubber stoppers but doesnt do anything

Same thing with mine. I adjusted mine so it was even as possible with the front. May need shims back at the cowel area.
Best way is to loosen the bolts barely nough to move the panels, but keep them tight enough to hold panel position while you line othe stuff up.

i was thinking maybe the springs thats hold the hood need replaced? or somthing just looks bad lol ill take pic in few to show it

I hate those damned shock mounts, my Dodge's never loosened up like that. :crazy:

My rear one on the pass side has a little rust dust on it, I am sure it is loose. I can't wait to fix that ****, NOT. :shitsweak:

Maybe cut a section out on a donor frame and weld it over top of it, I don't know man......

hahaha yeah its pretty bad and other side on the front is bad also but im gonna try not to drive truck make it worse till i get it fixed the rear is fine those really the only two rust spots on frame just weak points i think chevy had for that year not sure

seriously though, you should go by the local welder and see what can be done... shouldnt be too hard to slap a plate on and a new shock mount.

hey i been watching scotty kilmer on youtube latley and he showed a trick how to read obd1 codes well i fount my plug underneath steering wheel at left and i put the u shaped paper click in the a and b ports but nothing happens when i turn key check engine still on doesnt flash?? any ideas

That's not good, run wire from b to a dash ground instead of a and see what happens.

if it is normal why does it stay on when truck is running? i would of also thought it would picked up no fuel pressure?? and no egr lol does it not check these things?
