Startup after Rewire

I'm about to try to startup my 83 C10 after a complete rewire of truck, added electric fuel pump and electric fan, any suggestios before I install battery and try cranking

I'd check the positive cable for shorts to ground- both frame and to the negative battery cable just to make sure.

Get a battery charger and set it to the low setting and check all functions of the system and the grounds before applying full voltage to the system. The last thing you want to do is rewire it and fry it the first time hooking it up to the battery or starting it. Doing the low voltage test takes about a half hour but it's worth the peace of mind.
