Hi guys, been on here for a while lurking and thought it's time to say hello, this seems like a cool place with a lot of knowledge. Been into these trucks for quite a while now, had two 86 duallys, a 73 dually, a 74 3/4 ton and now two 74 short beds, one I just picked up for a driver while I do a complete resto on this one. I picked this one up just as it is(except for the wheels and tires)about two yrs ago, been a real nice truck but it's starting to show it's age and starting to fall apart, it has a Vortec crate 350 and 700R new when I got it. Plan is to do a frame off and start from scratch, and I will be doing some upgrades and custom stuff to it along the way. I plan on starting the project within the next week or so, if anyone is interested I could start a thread on it.
