Just wanted to put out an introduction. My name is Hank and I live in Colorado. Currently have a 73 2wd stepside that I restored when I was 15 for my first car. Has a 396 bored .030 over with an rv cam and old school ultra dependable quadrajet carb. It is painted GMC red on orange and dropped three inches all the way around. I joined the military when I was 18 and parked it at my folks farm. my folks spent the last year getting it road ready again and just gave it to my son for his 16th birthday. He is a square body lover already. We also have an 83 GMC shortbed fleetside 4wd that is my daily driver and we are getting ready to buy an 88 Suburban with 120,000 original miles for our next project. Hope to share and learn some things on this forum.
