Rear seal leak
My 350 Mr. Goodwrench motor's rear main seal is leaking after 42,000 miles and 24 years. I've tried Barsleak HD RR main seal repair p/n 1040 per the instructions with inconclusive results. Any suggestions other than replacing it?- vincelc

Rear Main Seal and Freeze Plug Replacement
Rear main and rear freeze plug, these need to be replaced in my truck, '87 350 tbi. Can these be replaced with the engine in the bay while the transmission is out for a rebuild/replace? That would make me so happy, they are the last of the leaks (or were), and life is easier if I don't have...- kctschida
