Hello all and merry Christmas! I sold the old 84 long bed and purchased a 85 1500 short box for Christmas " for me". It has a 454 in it and want to order headers, but looks way to tight to fit. I have several things to fix on this truck. Speedo doesn't work, leaks oil like crazy, wires just...- jjodan234

Rear seal leak
My 350 Mr. Goodwrench motor's rear main seal is leaking after 42,000 miles and 24 years. I've tried Barsleak HD RR main seal repair p/n 1040 per the instructions with inconclusive results. Any suggestions other than replacing it?- vincelc

Is it even possible to have a completely leakless 350?
My 350 leaks from the breather, pcv line, carburetor (?), front and back manifold end seals, valve covers (despite getting new covers and gaskets). Admittedly the manifold end seals are my fault when i replaced the manifold, but from what Ive read these engines will leak oil pretty much no...- BabyBlueChevrolet
