    Show your daily driver

My focus st. I just need to have a stick even though I commute in Houston traffic 80 miles everyday. Fun, big enough for the kids, decent gas mileage. Has full leather recaros which makes it feel "special." Im hapoy with it. Had a Fiesta st before this which was more fun but my daughter said...

    Is this a good deal?

If it rust free truly, I think that is fair if the interior is all there and nothing has been hacked up

I need help and to know what this truck is worth

1k would be tops. I would honestly be happier at $500 since it doesnt have a title and has some rust if it were me. Who knows about the frame with the twist in the bed too. This might be a parts truck honestly

    Painless kit 90627 - wire 901

I just put this same kit in my truck last year. Great kit. That wire goes into the interior and is a switched power wire from the ignition. You can use it to trigger a relay of some sort or connect it to another 901 wire thay goes to the engine harness and use that to trigger a relay in the...

New owner of a Frankenstein K10

My guess would be its a k10 frame with a 400 swap. Original cab was rusted or damaged in some way and they put a c10 cab on it. Title is tied to the cab in most states. I know here in texas the title comes with the cab.

C50 to C10 dash and cluster interchangeable?

I think the guage cluster is interchangeable with some repinning of the harness. Doors should swap fine too. Not sure about anything else

In need of a good paint and body shop in Houston area

Im in Houston too but I dont know who I would tak my truck too since it needs some cab corners done. It seems in Houston most shops are either cheap and dirty or overpriced but quality. Its hard to find a shop that does quality work at a reasonable price. What I would do is get your truck...

What did you pay for a square

Haha. Thats my old 1982 GL1100 Standard (no fairings or bags factory). That was a good cool bike. Just not "me". Sold it and bought back my vfr800 I had in college and have an st1300 for when my wife and I go out on rides too. If we have other people thay ride, we may need a motorcycle thread...

What did you pay for a square

I paid $6700 for mine in 2016. 1976 GMC C15 SWB Fleetside. I was planning on spending less for longbed but my wife and my dad convinced me to swing for a short bed since I planned on keeping it. Most shortbeds in houston sell for way too much for me so I was very happy at that price. It had an...

    Clutch style fan

I would measure your current fan and order another fan in same diameter. Since SBC are everywhere, most universal fans have the bolt pattern to fit the water pump pulley. I did this when upgrading to a serpentine system on my truck while keeping mechanical fan (spins other way in serpentine set up)

    Complete Re-Wire 1978 Scottsdale 4x4

I did the painless direct fit kit in my truck last year. Worth the extra money in my opinion. The manual is very thorogh and well laid out for everything and with a couple simple tools, it isnt a difficult job. Just take your time and dont rush and everything will be fine if you follow the...

    Holes in roof. Any Ideas?

I had a mustang gt that I did a spoiler delete on years ago that this worked well on. My truck is black as well but it has laquer paint so it is cracking everywhere. Hopefully they wont leak for now. Its kept in a garage most of the time when Im not workong on it

    Holes in roof. Any Ideas?

Great Idea! Ill see if these leak after I wiggled them. If they do, Ill go grab some of those for temporary fix until I get the truck painted

    Holes in roof. Any Ideas?

Thats what I thought but if I grab the little barb and wiggle, I discovered they go to straight to the outside and are probably bondo. I didnt know if they were some factory option with how well they are cut or not. I was thinking light bar maybe? Now ai have to figure out out to replug them...

    Holes in roof. Any Ideas?

Not to my knowledge. Truck is a 76 swb and restored in the 90s with 85-86 parts (front end, bed sides, interior, etc). I wouldnt be surprised though if someone had antennas up there at some point. Weird thing is it has 2 matching holes on each side for a total of 4.

    Holes in roof. Any Ideas?

Hello everyone. Longtime lurker here and figured I would reach out to the experts. Im in the middle of rewiring my truck (Painless for the win) and when I removed my headliner, I noticed these holes underneath. It doesnt leak (at the moment) but it looks like it is just bind filling the hole...

    Driver Side Alternator?

Early 90s serpentine system moves the alternator to the driver side. I bought a complete bracket set up at a swap meet for $200 and sold my original brackets for $350 and with that extra money, bought all new accesories for the serpentine belt set up. Way nicer amd still looks factory. My water...

    86-upgrading headlights keep stock look

Very much this. I did this and upgraded the headlights to use H4 bulbs instead of the sealed beams and it made a night and day difference. Nice part about having the H4 bulbs now is I have way more headlight bulb options and the housing stays the same.

    454 TBI lack of power

No cats is the way to go on these old trucks if you can where you live anyways. Nothing like the smell of fresh hydrocarbons in the morning.
