TBI to Carb Swap???
I like fuel injection. Just not TBI. Very in efficient and like you said, 17-18 MPG; that's probably better than any TBI setup. That's why I'm doing the turbo LS build. SBC to BBC on SM465
So just wanted to say the SM465 was a huge disappointment. So slow. If you want a fun, fast manual this is definitely not it. Get yourself a NV4500 or stay automatic. Ended up picking up a TH400 with 60,000 miles on it mated to a NP208 for $200. That was a whole two weeks after I got the SM465...- Wild Blue

Never even thought about putting the tranny on the engine first. Already took the mechanical pump off. Decided to go with an electric pump and regulator instead. Thanks for the reply- Wild Blue

I've been reading up on this swap for a while now and I really don't think it will be hard. I consider myself to be fairly mechanically inclined and i have others for any help I could need.
