I am also in the process of repairing mine. When I honked the horn, my wipers always swiped. I bypassed the module and the wipers now stay put during a public shaming instead of waving at the offenders. I took my module apart and found the same D2 diode blown and found this thread when looking...- crysalis

Fuel tank replacement on 1987 LS swapped square body
I just finished both of mine on my '85 over the weekend. Granted, I dont have EFI like yours, but if you're gonna do it, prepare to do most of it. It wasn't hard, but wasn't fun. I did both tanks, both sending units, 3 hoses each (supply, return, vent) between each sender to the metal lines...- crysalis

Dual fuel tank fuel line
I believe 3/8" for feed line (tank output to valve input), 1/4" for return (valve return to tank inlet/return) and 5/16" for vapor (tank to canister in engine bay, if its still there)- crysalis

85 K10 Choke
Thanks for the help fellas! New switch installed. Choke light is out and 14v at the choke. Opening like it should now. For anyone in the future, I used Duralast PS115 and was 1/4” thread. Added a layer of pipe thread tape. I used a Lisle 13250 1-1/16” sensor socket and an 11” ratchet. Changed...- crysalis

Sorry for the delay. I don't get too much time to work on the truck during the week. Thanks for the input! Disconnected oil pressure switch and put a meter on it. Started up the truck and got 0.1 ohms, and eventually open circuit, so I'll be getting a replacement pressure switch shortly. Once...- crysalis

Hello all! First post. I have an 85 K10 with an Edelbrock 1406 on a 350 and trying to figure out what PO did. Many strange things have been uncovered, but current task is the electric choke. Truck does not start very easy. When cold, it will fire off immediately and die as fast as it starts...- crysalis
