That reminds me I need to check and see if the reverse lights even work at all, and that’s another vote for the switch too!! Off topic, but was excited to find FB posts of my truck by previous owners from years ago when it had a totally different interior. -

Yeah you would think… by now especially… the black pull knob is confirmed a choke knob. I had my 11 year old pull/push while I watched the carb choke move. One half of my original question solved. -

3 speed manual on the floor with the granny low gear. Crossing off reverse lights… that switch doesn’t control them. It also didn’t control the dome light. Will keep looking. -

It pulls directly out about an inch and a half. My thought was a choke too… but I haven’t seen one of those since I was a kid. This engine has a carburetor so perhaps it is a choke??? If so, will need to read up on when and how it’s used. -

Thanks y’all… no idea where the current engine came from… originally this truck was a diesel with two fuel tanks but now with the Rat installed (didn’t know that term until reading it here) it only has one gas tank on left side. Someone obviously did an engine swap at some point. -

Umm so actually, it was directed at the guy who posted the 737 flight deck photo… I suspect he’s an airline pilot who was in the flight deck jumpseat. I’m also an airline pilot so I was saying he can relate to having loads of switches, and the way in which we don’t move switches just for the... -

Well the button looked like a horn button, felt like a horn button and smelled like a horn button, so I pushed it and I’ll be damned, it made the horn quack so I’m guessing it’s proven to be the horn button. The toggle switch… at first, no I didn’t flip the switch. I had a good look at it last...
