There are several websites that have wheel hub adapters, Amazon has several different sizes I was able to find one that fits the hub of my 1980 GMC and will allow centering the 17 inch rims so that the weight rests on the hub perfectly and not the nuts or the studs- otex255

Thank you for your replies, a lot of good information. They make hub centering rings all the way up to full size adapters, some of these rings are made out of the tea grade aluminum some out of polycarbonate.- otex255

18 inch rims for 1980 K3500 dually
I got my father's 1980 GMC k3500 camper special that he ordered from the factory and I'm getting ready to start making some repairs on it cuz it's never had anything done , I would like to put 18 inch rims on my 1980 k35 00 dual wheel four-wheel drive truck, can I get wheels from a newer vehicle...- otex255
