    New "Old" Suburban owner.

Been gone a while, now back. Still have this rig and am using it for road trips and camping.

Sorry have been gone a long time. These are 31", no rust in the back. There is the start of rust on the barn door hinges and a spot about the size of a quarter on the drivers kick plate. I think the drivers door was left open a lot and water hit the floor there. POR15 is on those spots now.

    85 Burban

I have almost the same truck. Just have barn doors in the back. This last year I was a bit rough on it and the roof and hood are starting to lose the gray paint. Seat belts

I have those seat belts in my second row of my Suburban. They are black, but same style and lock. They have worked well. I replaced the second row seats as they were getting a lot of use and seemed worn thin.

Another recent thing in my area is the huge chromed wheels on...

    New "Old" Suburban owner.

Threw up a couple of pics on album. I like this truck, little rough around the edges, but my type of rig. Not afraid about a few scratches or dings like the posers out there. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

    New "Old" Suburban owner.

Bought a 1987 Suburban with a new crate engine installed. Owner thought the transmission was going out, so sold it cheap. Have added: Dash pad, GPS, XM radio, Globalstar satphone, Icom F-2020 and IC-2100H radios, CB radio, new headliner, grill guard, KC Daylighter lights and two IR military...
