    I will try that, i came across a video U-wrench TV using meter probes and a drill battery as a switch bypass, may see if that would work, if not do as you said unbolting everything,, thanks

    1984 C10, replaced both window motors/regulators two years ago, passenger side is fine, driver side is stuck, changed the switch on the door but thats not it. I do hear a clicking in the motor, i can push it up or down about an inch. I don’t see or feel anything in the way, wires are good...

    Thanks, I didn’t see anything burnt when looking a little bit ago. Hopefully the replacements will work, i didn’t get the part that the wiper stalk goes into with the wiper/ cruise control wires (my cruise control doesn’t work so I have a regular stalk in) not sure what that part is called but...

    No problem it is appreciated, yes wipers are on the column and i didn’t need to unplug that one underneath, and I made sure the long plug from the signal cam is matched up with colored wires (it won’t snap in if it’s turns around) I may just try new signal cam since they are too expensive, also...

    Not sure what electrical would be but inside I can change gears as indicated but none are engaging I guess would explain better, you know when you put it in gear you feel it go in gear and hear it, but nothing is happening. Tomorrow I’ll do underneath to see about any linkage problem

    i don’t recall seeing a smog pump or the pipes that would be on the sides. There’s like welding on the manifold bolts (not sure if that’s cause they’re rusted and maybe leaking at one time), a plug by the thermostat housing and a triangular metal piece bolted on top in front of the distributor...

    It looks like it’s got to be one or the other, not both (to plug the slip yoke hole and to have a sleeve with o-ring), might be better to not have the sleeve & o-ring and just plug the hole. So when the o-ring wears out then I don’t have to take everything off again
