    well after some serious cussing!! I finally got the new rubber brake lines and new rear steel lines on my 87. never did the gravity bleed trick before so I will give it a try.Need to get the idle air control valve reset so the idle isn't at 1400.then it might just be ready for a drive!!

    finally getting back to work on my 87 GMC. got the rough idle fixed after a slew of sensor replacements. replaced the stock vacuum booster and another new master cylinder. waiting on steel brake lines for the rear and I have new rubber hose for brakes to fit the lift.with any luck i will finally...

    Thanks, I really didn't think so and I have worked on these trucks for a long time off and on over the years! just seems I heard of jacking the rear up to level the master cylinder from some place or could be a voice in my head giving me S$%t !!!

    well since the carport got done, then onto the garden rebuild,lots of do nothing days due to the heat and then the john deere riding mower of 20 years decided to spring a oil leak!!! So pulled the engine and put new gaskets and seals in it even got a new muffler to quiet it up!! hopefully good...

    it could be the threads if you replaced the bolt. check out the specs between jb1 and jb3 systems might be a difference in brake diameter which you can measure to find out. I had a wheel cylinder that had the wrong bleeder and the threads would not tighten up. todays junk parts!
