    So if you have a tbi swapped to carb motor, do the rear water jackets need to be open or closed? Wondering which gaskets to get.

    87 cylinder heads

    Ok so is the only change to the cylinder heads starting in 87 the angle of two center holes? Would older heads bolt on to 87 block if you change the intake? Just curious, thanks

    So what would be a slight upgrade camshaft choice for bone stock 87? Or stick with original replacement?

    Head bolts

    In looking up head bolts for 87 305 with tbi Im having hard time finding ARP bolts for this motor. I can find fel-pro and mahle but would rather have ARP. Anyone else run into this or know where to get ARP bolts for this motor?

    Hi guys , new here to site. I have an 87 GMC with the tbi. I am looking to rebuild mainly top end stuff ( bottom end has been replaced ), just wondering where best places to order parts from. Summit doesnt show a lot for the 87 tbi, at least not that i can find. Just looking for ideas of places...
