Looked at the project again with fresh eyes. I am thinking of cutting the lip section from an outer fender from a replacement panel, then trying to piece the arch closed. Like on the cap of a roof. It may not be pretty but it will be functional. may have to use rivets or panel adhesive... -

Cab swap?
I did a cab swap, put an 81 c10 auto. cab on a 74 4 spd. k20 frame. It was almost a bolt on deal except; when I bolted the fuse block back together everything worked except the headlights and I had to cut out the hump with a sabre saw and bolt the 74 hump in., the old style fenders did not want... -

Suburban passenger door rockers
I was going to trim ( cut off the jambs) a front rocker to see if it would fit better or am I just making a slip on anyways? Any thoughts on rear qtr. skins? I see LMC and classic industries show them, what about fit and quality? I could piece the rears ( three separate pieces) front /rear... -

Thanks for the reply. Thankfully,my jambs are real good. It was a western truck,owned/operated by a professional,so she is not beat up. I am going to sacrifice a O.E.M replacement front rocker and see how it goes. if I leave the inner rocker off, do I loose anything but a crap trap? -
