I see an engineered part that is important. I have no idea what it does but I see a piece of steel that can cut my new seat....if I can delete it I will. Or find out function and make the engineers proud and use it -

Can someone tell me what the double "L" shaped piece is on the sides of my seat? what does it do and is it oriented correctly. I took it apart so long ago I do not recall which way it was facing. Can I just delete? what is it for? -

Power door lock conversion
door lock switch question......i need switches for my doors, looking at LMC some switches are 70 bucks for 79-81 trucks 82-87 are 9 bucks,,,anyone know why the price difference? i have suburban doors as replacements looking for switches and since i dont know the year of the doors just wondering...- Ken B

Chrome bumpers comparison ?
I had the back of my amd front bumper clear coated so the back wouldn't rust and creep to the chrome. It hasn't been in the real world yet. Truck is at the body shop still- Ken B

Off to the body shop so it will not be multi color any more. Probably be a few months at least. -
Vent Window rubber replacement or replace?
I sent mine to precision rubber and they rebuilt them....heard too many stories that it was a pain to rebuild- Ken B

What have you done to your square lately??
after years of disassembly I am putting things together,,,,so I can see what screws/clips ect I have lost. Going to bodyshop soon and I am assembling so I am not delivering boxes and baggie of parts and then get billed for a couple of guys trying to figure out the GMSB jigsaw puzzle. -

Replacement Panels - All Created Equal - Yes or No?
AMD customer. inner fenders, rockers, cab corners. Good thick quality stuff USA1 I bought all the interior stuff. Yes they are slow but it is good quality stuff. Not sure how long backorder is now for some items.... -

that helps. just a stock driver. might go single 2.25 and call it good. my son is pushing me for headers and duals....but I am just going to cruise in it. It had a inline 250 cyl for 40+ years....- Ken B

Jumping on this thread....so got a carbed 350, need exhaust.....single or dual? has stock manifolds.... is there any benefit to dual My thought is 2.25 duals, dual cats dual mufflers.....? would appreciate thoughts/experiences- Ken B
