    6.7 Cummins Suburban Build

Why is the grid heater not hooked up? That really helps too for cold starting.

I totally agree with Jeremy. We were introduced to Dave Ramsey about 15 years ago. Sold vehicles, took an extra job driving school bus, quit eating out, and just hammered on paying off debt. Took about 5 years to get out of all the debt other than the mortgage and knocked out the mortgage 3...

My mom had a 1982 (I think) 750 CSR back when I was a kid in the mid '80's. I looked basically just like that one! Haven't seen one of those in a long time. My dad had a 1980 750 LTD.

Want to build a good horsepower, good fuel economy engine for a 1978 c20 with stock 350. I don't know much and need help.

Torque is your friend in a pickup. A good RV cam, properly tuned Qjet carb, and a good tune-up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires) would be things to look into. More than likely if your engine is stock, it probably has dished pistons. Flat top pistons and/or heads with smaller combustion chambers can...

What do you suppose this TPI setup is worth? The seller says pre-87 and that he doesn’t have the computer or any wiring harness.

    10 bolt vs 12 bolt G80’s

I have heard many horror stories of the 10 bolt G80 “Gov-bomb” problems. Is the 12 bolt G80 any better?

    1991 GMT 400 odometer quit

The little motor that drives the numbers was burned out, so $20 used EBay replacement is on the way.

    Mudflaps-not the woman type.

They used to sell them at Home of Economy in Minot, but haven’t seen them in years. Wonder who used to make them?

    1991 GMT 400 odometer quit

So the pickup is a ‘90 K2500 6.2 diesel that originally came with the half moon gauges. I wanted a tach, so I found a ‘91 diesel tach cluster with the needle gauges. Had to re-pin since Chevy decided to change the pin out for the plug from ‘90 to 91. 92 and up have a totally different plug...

    1991 GMT 400 odometer quit

Does anyone know if there is someone who can repair a 91 GMT gauge cluster (diesel with tachometer)? The odometer in my cluster isn’t working, but all the other gauges work.

    14 bolt question

If it is a full float 14 bolt, then it is not original to that burb. 3/4 ton burbs of that vintage would have came with a 14 bolt semi float.

This pickup has 3.55 gears. The level kit was in it when I bought it. I put 275/70R18’s on it because I thought the stock size 275/65’s looked a little small with the leveling kit. My business also has another ‘19 F150 3.0 Powerstroke with 3.31 gears and the same level kit and tires and there...

I originally wanted to get a 3.0 Duramax, but upon doing some research, there wasn’t much for options to enhance reliability if you catch my drift, where there was with the 3.0 Powerstroke. There was a recall on an egr cooler bolt with this pickup which was done prior to me buying it. After...

I know it is a Furd….but I have been quite happy with this pickup. 2019 3.0 Powerstroke. Amazing what modern diesel technology can do.

The Mr. Goodwrench 350 is peculiar for 20,000 original miles too… I guess could be possible if some old guy had a camper in the back and only used it camping.

I saw that ad the other day on Bisman too! Some people…. Lol Did you see the ‘78 K20 from Beach that is supposed to have super low miles…with a Mr. Goodrench engine in it? I think he was asking $25k for it.

    Transfer case

I think the lower 4Low gearing might be why the military used 208’s in the CUCV’s.
  24. mcarlo86

    Transfer case

    CUCV’s did come with 208’s I believe.

    Transfer case

If it is a true K30, it should have the 205 already unless it has been swapped out.
