    I've searched, but can't find the parts your talking about. I suspected something in the collum, but cant find the part. Do you have any views of it or a part number? Thanks.

    Sorry, it's got a 454 with th 400 transmission.

    It's hooked up. Truck runs fine and transmission shifts good. It just doesnt have any stops, you dont have to pull the shift lever towards you when changing gears, just move it up or down. With the key off, the column will lock it in park.

    I just replaced the column shift detent spring in my 76 c 10. With the key on, you can pull the lever all the way from park to L1. It changes gears, but no stops from park to L1 and back. Any clue what's broke or worn out?
