Grindage!?
I actually cannot get it into any gear at all while running. I’ve revved it some searching for the sweet spot too. With engine off all shifts smooth. I have read that low and R are non synchro and can have some grinding but I’m talking about nothing but grinding and all kinds of pressure on...- JKuhl

New to the page and dumb...now that that is out of the way....I have a sm465, not hyd., that I can't get into gear while running. truck is new to me and has sat for years but fired right up, miraculously.
