What new tools have you got lately?
I finally broke down and got one of these for doing my bi-annual trans fluid flush. I already have the vacuum extractor to empty the pan. I am sick of fighting a funnel in the fill tube to fill back up. This works good. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7CBL91P/- 89Suburban

I should have mentioned before you stabbed the motor back in. You want to replace those plastic heater hose connectors on the firewall. They are known to break and dump all your coolant out before you even notice something is wrong. Use genuine GM plastic connectors. Or Dorman now makes metal...- 89Suburban

Finally found some 5x5 Turbines!!!
When I had mine years ago I used something similar to this. You wet the wheel, spray this on. It would foam up white and almost look like it was etching it clean, then rinse off. Not for coated or polished aluminum. Basically an aluminum brightener. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CINB2E/- 89Suburban

It is an Oldsmobile with a big block, that's all the recon I got on that one. Was very clean looking. The original motor had over 360K on it. 70'/80's? What kind of headlight setup and hood did it have? Plymouths usually have the quad headlight setup, Dodges the round eyes by themselves or with the vertical turn signals inboard. Then you got the standard hood or Power Wagon/Muscle hood.- 89Suburban
