Not sure if Murphy has stations in Commie California, but the Murphy stations in Colorado have 87Octane non-ethanol fuel. In California, because you are at sea level, the Octane would be 89. Also you do not need to run Mobil Premium in this motor. The compression is not high enough to warrant 93...- Raybo135

My original 1976 I bought in 1975 only had a lab belt, and it was a K-10 Custom Deluxe with 6200GVW. But it did have the bolt holes for a shoulder belt to bolt into the pillar. In 1976, the GVW 6200 was considered Heavy Duty. However, I have a newer 1976 now and it does have the same GVW rating... -

Blower works on high only
It is on my 1976. But I think I figured out what the problem was. The Resistor that is below the Relay had a loose connection. Now my fan works on High and all other speeds. The Additional tab is for the Max Air position to run the fan on High and no other speed. I am going to put in the new... -

OK. I took the switch out and it had 5 tabs. The plug took up 4 tabs and an orange wire took up the last tab. I bought a Genuine GM and it came with only 4 tabs for the plug. What do I do with the other orange wire now? And does anybody know where can I find one with 5 tabs. -

Where is this Resistor located on a 73-78 K10? I have never seen this before and I have been around a 76 K10 since 1976. My switch just never went out before. But now it has and I needs the full speed for the A/C. Thanks for any assistance you can provide! ! ! -
