    467 CU IN 9.3 Compression 236 headed ported peanut port engine, 228/238 @ .050 hyd roller cam, stamped steel rocker arms, Performer RPM intake, modified factory 4 quart oil pan. Dyno test below.

    Here some information you can use. Those 360s are peanut port heads with stellite seats. Any factory carburated stock 454 engine made 320 HP with headers on the dyno. Properly done 9.3 comp, 228 @ .050 cammed 454s can perform like this: Not sure what can be done with the TBI 454.

    First step here is to mag the steam holes for cracks, you have rebuilder special here, so it needs decked and honed to .040 with TQ plate. Line hone next.

    A well done 400 gets on most BBCs, and smokes a 383, before there was an aftermarket I was running 9s NA with production 400 blocks and small tires at full weight. I didn't use the 5.560 rods though, but I did use 350 5.7 rods. My 400s never ran hot and I've run them on the street, 160 degrees...

    My suspension is stock, my previous 327 ran 11.97 with a 1.63 60 foot. My new 350 has 90 more HP than the 327 and 104 TQ more. We also built a race trans, with a 2.75 low gear, my old trans the high gear was applying while in 1st gear. I now have a 20 % increase of power at the rear wheels...

    The bolt threads into a nut behind the alternator, I use 2 brackets tig welded together for extra strength. You can actually see this in the first picture if you look hard. NO------------problem.

    !972 Nova power steering brackets, and alternator brackets, 1969 Z/28 pulleys. Works flawless, and I run it hard.

    Dyno test of the new 350 537 HP 504 TQ Looks like my truck is going to run mid 11s. My old 327 made: 447 HP 400 TQ Now the question is: will it run 1.4 60 foots with the factory 2 piece drive shaft?

    I like production parts, no rules, I just want the engine to look like my older 327 did. I drive this truck a lot and enjoy it, its certainly no show truck, we just like it how it is, a picture of the old 327.

    Cam is a solid flat tappet 264 @ .050 .528 net lift, 108 lobe separation, with a 1.5 rocker, might go 1.6 on the intake, very mild lobes that will live on the street. My 327s cam was 480 240 @ .050.
