    Weekend project. K5 disassembly!!

    Finally got a chance to tear apart this K5. It was involved in a roll over and was totaled. Body and frame is toast but drive train and a few suspension are still salvageable. It was fun and sad at the same time!

    Scored a clean hood today!!

    I've been slowly finding the parts I need to put the ole GMC back the way she should be. Found this hood, rust free and original paint with one very small dent for $100 on Facebook. Has the GMC hood ornament as well. Still looking for a GMC tailgate and A/C, cruise control parts. But getting closer.

    84 GMC grill redo, well sort of

    So we all know about the infamous 83-84 GMC grill and no one remakes them. So after searching I was able to find a single headlight 84 grill, didn't know the difference until I got it home. So instead of searching for the one I needed I made what I needed with what I got.

    87 R-10 No start issue

    So this one has me stumped, I have an 87 R-10 with a 350 TBI. I have air, fuel and I have spark, although it's a weak spark. Timing is correct, new coil, module, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and a new battery. I'm assuming the weak spark is the culprit, but I'm not sure why. Now I was told this...
