I found so much info stalking this forum I thought I would introduce myself and try to help other folks as well. thanks hotrodpc. the guy actually bought the truck I'm getting, just for the linkage and the dash pad to fix another truck of his lol. I specialize in automotive electrical so no worries there but I don't know much about trannys. I can pull one just nervous about the output shaft. I may just...- deersniper541

2wd trans in a 4x4
hotrodpc the trans itself is good but the clutch linkage is missing. I've had 2 blazers one auto and one had the sm465 I really prefer auto. thanks everyone for the info.- deersniper541

2wd trans in a 4x4
ok to make a long story short I own a c30 but want a 4x4. I found another pick up near my house that a gentleman will sell me cheap. it's a mid to late 70's 4x4 with a bad manual trans. I'd prefer an auto. can I swap my th400 from my 2wd truck? I planned on swapping my 454 to the 4x4 too. im not...- deersniper541
