    I’ve got the same issue - brake lights work when the lights are not on But when I turn the lights on, I get nothing at the back - no tail lights, no brake lights Can anyone tell me where the grounds are for those lights? Or if there’s anything else I should look at?

    Thanks- I thought it could be u joints too but I don’t think it is The noise doesn’t seem to be coming from that area and I checked the joints and didn’t hear anything The joints and drive shafts are pretty new Other ideas?

    Anyone know where I can find replacement bolts for the steering gear on my ‘85? I got a new steering gear to put in. One of the old bolts is sheered off and I’d like to replace them all.

    Tachometer replacement thoughts

    I used the LMC tach kit and the small gas gauge. It took a while to find a printed circuit that would actually make all the gauges work, but it’s been great and everything has worked perfectly for a couple years now. I’m really glad I kept the stock look.

    My truck has gotten out of alignment recently Took a look underneath and noticed the adjustment sleeve bolts on the driver side are at slightly different angles I could have sworn they used to be at the same angle - but I maybe I never looked that closely Is this a problem?

    Am I crazy to expect more than 10 MPG

    I have a relatively recent 350 HO crate engine, Holley 670 carb, TH350 3 speed, and 3.73 gearing. 33 inch tires. I can get 11-12 mpg on occasion if I drive the interstate but usually it’s around 10 since I do mostly in town driving. I’m at 2450 rpm at 70 mph. I’d love to replace the transmission...

    Precision Vent Window Program

    I had my vent windows rebuilt by Precision and they did a great job. You can do it yourself but it is tedious. They got my windows back to me quicker than expected and the look and work like new.

    Update: Checked the grounds, everything was good Replaced the headlight switch under the dash - still no headlights Replaced the dimmer switch on the steering column - now I can get the dim lights to work, but I cannot get the brights to come on What next? Getting that switch set up just right...

    I replaced the relay and the power locks now work. But the relay is hard to find.
