Engine mods on an 86 4x4 for towing a 3000lb. travel trailer???
I recently picked up an 86 4x4 long bed that is bone stock and original with 68K miles on it. Very solid rust free AZ. truck but it runs like a slug so I want to zip it up a little so I can pull a 3000 LB. travel trailer. It's a 350 with a 700R4 and 3:73 gears. Just picked up a 79 C-10 from Az.
Just picked up a 79 C-10 from Az. Mechanicals are great as it runs and rides like a new truck. Truck has 67K on it but still needs some cosmetic repairs. It needs a grill and a tailgate. Can anyone tell me where to find these parts and what the average cost for these would be? Thanks in advance, RD- Reddog74usa
