Got the spare sprayed black yesterday while my girl was bbq'n.... The hardest part was dismounting the tire, cuz a wasp/hornet/ yellow jacket must have liked the pattern of circles on the spare and made a home out of it. I took her for a quick spin and the tires rubbed really bad like a paddle wheel against tin, had to do a five point turn to get her back in the driveway. May need some 32/9.5/15s vs the 11.5 or to install the body lift.....- Mackadocious916

Got the struts all worked out, bolts tightened, and camber bolts in. Still need an alignment but steering rack seems to be leaking , so gotta handle that first.... also body lift... So here is stock And where I am at now... See the camber is way off. I got it in there stock bolts. I got two camber correcting bolts but may need four. Or possibly I slot the upper strut hole and two is sufficient... but then I will need alignment. I bought a used lower mile steering rack...- Mackadocious916

I had pulled the side moldings but still need to use Stoner products tarminator to get the rest of the goop off. I also had went to the recyclers and had bought a used ps rack as I thought that was where the leak was coming from. But now I don't know. This was how I cut the spring compressors... The front tire was flat and needs air so I had to leave the jack there for now, but ran out of time. Still gotta do struts bolt on top of wheel well, but due to extreme camber -after lift - gotta use camber bolts or notch the struts before it sits...- Mackadocious916

Had to use a spring compressorr to get it in.. Passenger side rear done... Didn't realize all the after pics were so shady... I realized earlier all my calculations were off. I thought stock tire size was 29", but it really was 205/75/15 which is really 27" so with 4.88s stock, I may...- Mackadocious916

In the last post of the passenger side this was supposed to be the first picture of trimming the closest surface to me.... I had started trimming the driver side rear, but found some things tucked up in the quarter panel... I know the tubing is just for water drip from jams...- Mackadocious916

Got about two hours of trimming in with the angle grinder. Stock Rear bumper cover removed. Trimmed the outside.. Then inside... And ended up with..... Couldn't get the passenger side all the way, but will hope to this week.- Mackadocious916

I found a deal for $240 for this bumper which is much less that the $675 cal mini wanted. It would likely take some fab to work, but once the body lift and gap are there may clean it up. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but the width seems do able. But I still want to trim the rear quarter...- Mackadocious916

Had been researching gearing for the bigger tires... apparently the low gears are under rare and unobtainium. looks like a 99 5.12/5.13 will have to do... I would have loved the 5.375s and 32x 9.5 x15s but oh well. I hope to get a whole diff front and rear to swap. Stock size is 29x6.5x15 @4.88...- Mackadocious916

I got the catalytic converter and o2 sensors in, just need to splice the o2 sensors wires. Saw a few issues.... One is my oil dipstick is not seated in properly.... Two is it appears as if this is too oily and maybe leaking, looks like an oil pressure sensor in the block.....but it...- Mackadocious916

I also ordered a 2" low range off road suspension/ spacer lift, 2" body lift, and rocky road steering shaft spacer for body lift -but may or may not need it... gunna try with my now limited hand tools-when I have a McPherson strut compressor in the garage. I had trimmed the front bumper cover for clearance a few days ago.... I broke down and bought a tool set for basic wrenching and when I can get to my other tools, it will be for pick n pull trips.... I got a new jack too because I broke the last one getting the k20 in the garage...- Mackadocious916

Got the 4 x heat shield bolts out 8 or 10 mm had to use wrench Here is the upper cat 3x14mm bolts off...Gunna put in two o2 sensors while I'm here because I will have to smog again in August.. About halfway through I had to stop as the old cats bolts were welded on for easier...- Mackadocious916

Here's the engine bay... 4cyl 2.0 auto...so she has 260,xxx but supposedly brother of previous owner had replaced the engine 100k ago. But after the check engine okiedoke, may not be a reliable historian. Runs great though and Compression 185 across all cylinders. Engine looks showroom clean up...- Mackadocious916

I knew I needed to get this tracker higher so it could push the k20 and needed some altitude to Align the trackers push bumper to the k20 rear bumper. Started checking out comparable wheels.... Scouted these out on CL for better backspacing... Teaser- Mackadocious916
