Front drive shaft is hitting
X2 on the trans mount. Just went thru this with mine. Changed the chewed up mounts n no more racket. Good luck!- K201979

75-79 Saginaw PS Pump Brackets for BBC
I bought a reman pump for my 350 n when i tried to bolt up the bracket the can was clocked wrong. I had to put the reman pump in my old can for it to work. Pumps were the same but cans were clocked different. Dunno if that helps:33:- K201979

Fix Slamming Doors - Striker Door Latch Repair
I had some 1/2" cpvc laying around so i took my chances with it. Worked great! Passenger door is like new. Driver much better but i think pins are worn. Cpvc was a little harder to cut and spread open but it worked.- K201979

Getting an 87 V25 C6P HD to sit close to level
If ur going stock height, id get stock springs. Itll probly level it out some. Mine was raked to the front before i lifted 4" and the new springs made it level. If its still raked after stock springs u can add a zero rate to level it.- K201979

Welcome! Looks like an excuse to show my beauty too:Big Laugh: Id say you have 4". Thats what mine is except 315/70/17 rubber. Considering the differance in tires id say the stance is close. Welding help needed.
X2 on trying different wire. Ive had wire labeled flux core before that wasnt or at least acted like it wasnt. Spattered and wouldnt stick. Just bounced off. Got a different spool and it was back to welding fine.- K201979

Maybe it just needs a fuel pump. Theyr not too pricey i wouldnt think. Is it mechanical or electric pump? Most recent one i replaced was on an 84 cj7(mechanical) and it wasnt too spendy. Actually i was worried about all the ballbearings, but that wasnt too bad. I didnt get the sector shaft bearing drove deep enough the first time n that gave me problems. The next hardest part was getting the big snap ring in the endcap with a fat new oring and the only other thing was getting...- K201979

I kno i put an 84 steering gear in my 79 while i was rebuilding the original and i had to teflon tape the fittings on the lines to be sure they wouldnt leak. They r metric too on the newer but they will thread in. I replaced my lines when i put the rebuilt gear back in.- K201979
