    It's a jet spray.. Kinda like a giant dishwasher ... Does a nice job of getting the years of crud buildup off .. Must be fairly clean to magnaflux .. Doesn't do much for carbon buildup, did break out the sand blaster for that job .. Got super lucky with this set of 781 heads, found no cracks...

    The Oem windage tray and main cap bolts showed up ... The pan fit was real good, didn't need any mods done to the pan or the tray .. The Milodon tray and crank oil scarper are in route .. By the end of the week should have them in my greasy hands along with the timing cover and cam .. Double...

    I'm using a boat pan that Mercruiser made for the 454 BBC motors .. It holds bout 7 qts ... Has some baffles casted in the bottom to control slosh ... Thought was to add a bit more oil control at the crank ... We'll see how that will work out once the parts get here .. Being this motor...

    No sh*t ... Lol (Pun Intended) I'm building a 454 Big Block, those bolts were in use on 65-up Vettes, Chevelle's any muscle cars/trucks of the era .. 396, 402, 427 and 454 mostly ... My plan is to overkill lower end oil control with using the GM plate and a aftermarket plate together ...

    Took two pickup tubes to get it sitting where I wanted it to ... The first was to short, had a 15/16" gap .. Second one was a bit to long, but with some bending got it where it will work okay ...
