    I have 255/70/15s or 255/75/15s I cannot remember. Bfgoodrich radial ta's Average speed is 45-65mph max in town is 45 but hwy is 65 and sometimes I used to go 70 but with the 3spd it sucked big time.

    If I go carb then I would want my cam to be off idle to 4500rpm. But like I stated with a th350 trans behind it and my gears it would suffer on the low end. At least that's what Brian at TBI Chips told me... So I am going to fork over a lot of cash to get a trans and rear end swapped in.

    I'm looking for a good 700r4. Funny that's how my Gpa burnt it up towing a 5th wheel camper from Missouri to Florida. A lot of hills to go through. A local shop said he could put the innards of a 700r4 into my existing th350 case. Thought that was a bit strange.

    So with headers still or stock manifolds? I've already took the air pump off and plan on leaving it off so it's either headers or plug the holes. If I go headers do i still need the O2 sensor(s)? Or can that be deleted as well if I switch it over to a carb' system?

    with headers? I read that they're not meant for engines with less than 300hp. Also that a single exhaust with 3 in pipe is better than duals. How do I tell if they are swirl port? By a certain cast number?

    thats what i have found from my research but with a chip it can help an allow a milder cam. it did come with a 700r4 but that transmission burnt up many many years ago and my grandpa had a TH350 installed. so it has the 3spd in it now

    Well after 6hours of fighting I finally got it. I didn't have my 1/2in impact but my 3/8s got three of the bolts free. And I was wrong again the bolts were 14mm. And I actually started to round one and the last one was rounded. What did this? Stupid 12 pt socket instead of 6 (slapped forehead)...
