Go for it. Last one I posted was a pipe cleaner. And I don't mean for plumbing.
You might want to do a quick scroll through the thread too. There's still a few unknowns you could have the answer to.
'84-'88 Corvettes had a Doug Nash 4+3 manual gearbox which was a 4 speed with an overdrive that would work in 2,3 and 4. Don't know if it's the same Nash OD you're talking about or not, but you might try looking at a Corvette forum...
Flame polishing.
Little Tykes uses it on their toy cars when they come out of the mold and they recommend it to their customers when they get scratched or scuffed.
I didn't know it was workable for our plastics, but it makes sense that it does. Wave a flame fast across the plastic to put a...
AFAIK the only difference in the front brakes was the calipers and pads.
The specifics of the JB6 and JB7 brakes thing may be from the '81 redesign. I'd have to check a book that I don't have in front of me now. But I'm pretty sure the idea carried through the whole line.
It's ID.
There's two 20 series, standard and C6P heavy duty. It has the 13" drums and uses bigger calipers and D153 pads.
Standard uses 11" drums and D52 pads.
They all use the same rotors, so I have no idea WTF they're talking about.
Sometimes, if they're stone dead the charger won't start because it doesn't see a battery. If you can hook the battery to a DC power supply or another battery and get some voltage into it the charger might pick it up and charge it. Just a thought.
I despise the WalMarts and Harbor Freights of the world differently than I despise the American brands that built their reputation and brand on American manufacturing and then outsourced to fourth world communist countries but still charge US prices.
The only saving grace that Harbor Freight...
Who's going to see the roof? I'd go with either hood only or maybe hood and gate. Don't the Rams have stripes on the gate sometimes? I'm not sure if I like that look. But hey, personal preference and your truck. Do whatever you like best.
Hours.
I had an '80. My first car, and my last Volvo. Even with the 5 speed I think it was 18 seconds 0-60. But it got 35 MPG. Not bad for a car with a drag coefficient that didn't start with a decimal.
The other good thing about it,... well probably the only actual good thing, was it was a...
I agree, it has all the hallmarks of clutch not disengaging. That lack of pressure until the pedal is almost on the floor says the same thing.
I wonder if starting it in gear would prove anything other than, it can move on its own.
Wait, it's IN neutral? Put it in high range. Leaving the case in neutral will just let everything spin up. I made that mistake once with my truck. Granted it's an auto, but I had to shut the engine off to get everything stopped just to get it into park. Never thought it was possible to grind an...
The transmission shop that put the welded drain plugs in mine put them in the vertical sides (back) of the pans. I had originally put drain kits in the pan bottoms, but not having them sticking down where they can be ripped off on something in the road or a rock or whatever seemed like a better...
