3 - rust proof or rust o Leum paint always good idea, 2 - simple bolt with a shoulder and a gear clamp generally all I ever used 1 - been there before, long as the switch doesn’t get flipped your fine and if it does you’ll just need to crank the engine and reprime the line via mechanical pump... -

It definitely is, and it’s difficult to not get caught up in the thought processes behind each point On the project, even more difficult to keep momentum when the family gets busy/ work life events. -

Laid down a coat of primer/ will start fine tuning the jam to look straight- no one is going to look but me so it matters, found a few spots that the primer make stand out like a sore thumb -

Took the weekend to flush the welds on the rocker, yes Overkill on the tack welds - pulling straight little warpage from the alteration after the fact. That and a hand to remove my hood thrown in the box and then fastening the cowl support down - not 100% yet - hope everyone is getting lots done... -

Spent Boxing Day feathering out the welds on the cowl for the 67’ Resto-Mod - Three things about projects that prevents them from being worked on, Time, Money, Work and Family last one always seems to be a two parter that melds together for some reason.:birgits_tiredcoffee:birgits_tiredcoffee -

Modifying the underside of the hood one last time, wasn’t clearing the cowling as it went up it would catch - getting there slowly. -

Soon as I started cutting into it twisted, guy I picked up my second cowl from media blasted it before I ever touched this. Some relief cuts had to be made to get the right curvature to the cowling so it followed the hood. Cuts are at the points, I’m glad I smoothed out the wiper holes that have... -

Matching up and modifying my 67 cowling to affix it to the C30 square body cowling, 2 hours thinking, 1 hour of work- glad there’s no timelines on these projects and I’m not paying anybody to do this… I’d go broke :birgits_tiredcoffee -
