    its different, its a lot of work though... and I’ve not seen it done with a write up as of yet. I’ve made all my own suspension thus far.

    Fair, I’ve spent the time and made my own c notch four link and upper front A arm bracket... but I respect that opinion.

    I had this same issue with my drivers side cab corner but relief cuts allow the manipulation of the panel.

    These replacement body panels sometimes are just bloody ignorant! Slowly working the cab corner all the way around and then had a bulge in the bottom, couple of relief cuts and slow manipulation and managed to get the panel placed and aligned the way I was looking for.

    Spent a little time, up late last night prepping the cab corner, and then up early this morning with final layout of the rocker and cab corner. Don’t rush, take your time with this now and you’ll require less body filler later.

    So I ended up modifying the brackets from rock auto to get the door gap better, it’s definitely not perfect, but I am not necessarily looking for a show truck, the more time you spend on gaps/alignment/fitment the better off you are going to be come prep fill block sand and paint time.

    I’ve got a whole build thread called ground up restoration, full custom four link and front suspension, but may not be your cup of joe, ended up posting this up because there is nothing I have found out on the inter web that shows anywhere near the process.
