    Source for horn part

Any one have a source for this horn button spring insulator. 74 K20. I really have had it w/ plastic parts. Not enough left to even determine actual size or shape. The insert seems to be usable. Bone yard will be my last option. Edited 1/2 hr. Later. I see I didn’t disassemble far enough. Broken...

What have you done to your square lately??

Largest panel so far. Coming along w/o warping. Darn twist lock flap disc unscrews & goes bounding across the yard when I release the air.

Plastic door lock buttons died from the sun. Made cool replacements out of 30 30 cartridges. Arrow tip inserts that accept broadhead or field points mate well to the cartridge neck. Whole process took minutes. 30 06 would also work. Redrill the arrow tip receiver to 9/64,tap to match the 10 24...

    Hello from Maine

welcome from Colorado. Weve been searching for a home down east for several years now. Unfortunately we need a great kitchen for my wife and lots of shop/ garage space for me. In our 7O’s now so ranch style is a plus. I guess the 40 yrs. we spent building what we want isn’t easily duplicated. At...

What new tools have you got lately?

Made a simply yet elagant dent puller. Used an ancient chuck from a B&D 3/8 drill. It will get a workout tomorrow. Mig weld small nails to the dent, chuck it up and slap the slide.

Possibke cause for intermittent loss of brakes could be boiling fluid. Happens when lines are run close to headers or exhaust pipes.

Simple repurpose. Got around to a little detailing. All chrome door bits are badly pitted. In the process of dealing w/ that it needed new plastic behind the window cranks. Folgers coffee plastic tops for the N/C win.

    Busted ball joint boot

Used to maintain a fleet of Subaru's. Got to the point of being able to replace boots almost blindfolded. Big prybars, hammers & jacks were all that was required. Lots of truck speedy boots available for quick fix. Ive found them to have short lives.
