What is the brak lever assembly attached to the rear diff?

chengny posted a GM tsb that was issued for mechanics instructing them on how to bypass the LSPV (load sensing proportioning valve) so it's not absolutely necessary to retain it. I kept mine but had to add a length of 1/8" thick flat stock mounted vertically to account for the 4" lift...

Reverse lights on 85 1 ton that was converted to auto

I've done that too. The toggle switch I mounted under the dash had a bright red light attached so I wouldn't forget to shut them off.

    1976 Blazer Trailering Special w/ 400sbc?

The only transmission option code for the 400ci that year was M40 so unless it has been swapped out it's a TH400. Check the pan to verify.

    1976 Blazer Trailering Special w/ 400sbc?

    The Z82/400 combo was available for that year in the K models only. The 2wd versions only offered the 250ci 6 or the 350. 350: 165hp @ 3800rpm, 255tq @ 2800rpm 400: 175hp @ 3600rpm, 290tq @ 2800rpm

    Monroe shocks

...Edit. I was thinking they should not rebound on their own but failed to consider the gas charge and that they do expand when taken out of the box and have the shipping straps removed, so your shocks are probably no good.

    Anyone used engine restorer?

Haven't used it myself, but after reading through this thread I wouldn't be afraid to try it. Lots of snake oil additives out there but apparently this stuff works. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/engine-restore-does-work-71649.html

    Monroe shocks

I'm picky about ride quality and have no complaints with the Gabriel Ultras after 15 years of use. Was easy to choose them because they have some specifically for use with a 4" lift. Didn't see that option with Monroe.

Transfer Case Crossmembers & Skid Plates

The one on my '89 has a similar shape to the one above but isn't exactly the same. It has two drain holes in the bottom and mounts with just the four bolts on the crossmember.

Save Up To 60% Off On All Weatherstripping This Month

I put a couple of things in my cart and went to checkout but didn't see any sale prices. In fact, they were higher than the prices seen on 1A Auto through Google shop. Haven't heard back on the pm I sent.

Found a different style Wix air filter.

There's something wrong with the numbers (or my comprehension) of all three filters. A stock 43mm throttle body flows 572 cfm (dry) and the 2" bbc unit is rated at 670 cfm, so in theory, none of those filters flow enough air. I'm wondering how they are tested for the rated cfm.
