BBC 454 dipstick length?
Mine did the same thing. I just put 7 quarts and did a pipe cutter on the tube to get it reading correct- carfanatic63

Driver Side Alternator?
Early 90s serpentine system moves the alternator to the driver side. I bought a complete bracket set up at a swap meet for $200 and sold my original brackets for $350 and with that extra money, bought all new accesories for the serpentine belt set up. Way nicer amd still looks factory. My water...- carfanatic63

86-upgrading headlights keep stock look
Very much this. I did this and upgraded the headlights to use H4 bulbs instead of the sealed beams and it made a night and day difference. Nice part about having the H4 bulbs now is I have way more headlight bulb options and the housing stays the same.- carfanatic63

Shade tree gear change
Going to a 3.73 will only worsen your mileage on the freeway as the 3.73 is a lower gear than your current 3.07 so RPM's will go up when driving.- carfanatic63

Transmission Indicator
It is pretty easy. There is a tab with a wire connected to the indicator that just clips on the column. You have to take off the bezel to reach everything but once your their, it is a simple job.- carfanatic63
